Cincinnati Marathon, Inc. is proud to announce PIG WORKS

We’ve got some exciting news to share with you!

The Board of Directors of Cincinnati Marathon Inc., the parent company of the Flying Pig Marathon, Queen Bee, TQL Beer Series and the FCC3, is proud to announce that the non-profit organization producing all of the above events will now be known as Pig Works! The organization that started with a little hometown marathon over twenty years ago has now established a diverse family of participatory events and a growing philanthropic footprint.

Pig Works is a race experience company with three goals:

  1. Create fun participatory sporting events for individuals and groups of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds
  2. Contribute to charitable causes that support the growth and development of our community here in Cincinnati and beyond
  3. Promote a lifestyle that weaves movement and health into the fiber of our community and extends beyond the bounds of our event days

The new organization name will enable growth in participation and charitable giving while allowing each existing and beloved event brand to retain its name, personality and mission.

In 2019, our suite of races attracted 59,693 registrants across five weekends throughout the year resulting in 475,311.7 miles completed and more than $1,000,000 raised for charity. These registrants represented all 50 states and 29 foreign countries. In December, Race Raves ranked the Flying Pig Marathon the #1 marathon in the United States.
