What times will the events take place and when will you announce the routes?

Click here for our race weekend schedule for the weekend of Oct. 29th-31st for the Flying Pig Marathon and Queen Bee Half Marathon events. We are working on updating the 5K, 4 Miler and Flying Fur routes for the fall, but all other remain the same as in previous years. The Queen Bee Half Marathon will take place on the Flying Pig Half Marathon course.

Will the other events typically included in Flying Pig Marathon weekend be offered?

In-person registration is currently limited to the events listed here. The entire lineup of Flying Pig Marathon events will still be offered virtually this fall. The Cincinnati Children’s 26th Mile, Piglet, PigAbilities events and our youth programs will remain virtual this year, but will be added back to the schedule in 2022.

Will there be an expo and post race party?

The P&G Health and Fitness expo will be held at the Duke Energy Center Oct. 29-30 and the Michelob Ultra Post-Race Party will be held in Smale Park during each day’s races.

Will participants be required to wear masks and social distance?

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic through event weekend and organize an event based on the current CDC guidelines and restrictions. Virtual races will be offered for those who prefer that option.

Are you able to participate in both the Flying Pig and Queen Bee Half Marathons?

You can register and complete both events simultaneously on our half marathon course. You will wear both bibs and receive a medal, shirt and bag for both the Queen Bee and Flying Pig. We will offer a discounted rate of $140 to register for both events. To receive the discount, please register for both races and email registration@flyingpigmarathon.com

How can I volunteer for the event?

We are officially accepting individual and volunteer groups interested in helping at the October 29th – 31st weekend of events! Volunteer groups can register as an official volunteer group to earn a donation for their charity or non-profit  organization. Please click here to find out more or contact our volunteer coordinator at claudia@flyingpigmarathon.com for more information.

Will the premiums for the fall in-person and virtual events be the same as the spring virtual races?

Medals: The medals will be the same as the spring event, but with new ribbons.

Shirts: Sunday participants will receive long sleeve technical shirts with a new design. Saturday participants will receive a short sleeve lifestyle shirt with an updated design.

Bags: Full, half and relay participants will receive backpacks ordered for our 2020 event. At the expo, we will also provide other premium bag options from previous years (while supplies last).

I am registered for the spring virtual event – can I switch to the in-person race?

I have a deferral code from 2020. How do I register?

If you deferred your registration from the 2020 event, you must re-register for 2021 using your deferral code.  You are not signed up to participate until you complete this.  If you have trouble finding your deferral code, please email registration@flyingpigmarathon.com for assistance.
