"We feel it's important to recognize the achievements of all our runners, whether they go 26.2 miles or 6.2 miles," said Iris Simpson-Bush, executive director of the Flying Pig Marathon. "This first issue of the medal is a great way to commemorate our inaugural running of the Papa John's 10K."
