Rumpke Provides Special Seats for Flying Pig
More Than 500 Portable Toilets Ready to Run
CINCINNATI, Ohio (April 30, 2008) Rumpke will line the streets of the Flying Pig Marathon with more than 500 portable restrooms this weekend.
Rumpke will install 519 portable toilets, including wheelchair accessible units, at the starting line and strategic locations throughout the race. Yeatman's Cove will be home to 40 restrooms to accommodate the Victory Party.
"These athletes have been training for months, and the last thing on their minds should be worrying about where to find a restroom before the race," said Adam Rumpke, portable restrooms district manager. "The Flying Pig is Rumpke's largest portable restroom event in Cincinnati, and we are proud to be part of this great tradition. Our crews will work continuously from Thursday through Sunday to set-up and clean-up the event."
Rumpke will provide waste removal and recycling services at the Flying Pig along with the portable restrooms. The clean-up process and street sweeping will begin immediately following the last runner.
