Cincinnati, Ohio (July 11, 2003) - Cincinnati running veteran John Sence and U.S. Bank Vice President Michael Folan are the two newest members to the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. Iris Simpson-Bush, Executive Director of the Marathon, made the announcement today after unanimous approval by the Board.

"It is a great honor for the Board to welcome two community leaders like John and Mike to the Flying Pig family," said Simpson-Bush. "We are grateful for their interest in making the Marathon an even better experience."

"Cincinnati is fortunate to have people like John and Mike willing to give their time and talents to events such as the Marathon," said Jim Mahon, Board President. "We're looking forward to working with them."

John Sence is a legend in the local running community. A graduate of Milford High School and Wake Forest University, John has been a world-class runner for more than a decade.
