Keep Moving Throughout the Year
As we head into the summer season, you'll probably be more active than ever. That's great! We want our Flying Pig participants to keep going, not just for the Pig, but for so many of the great activities and causes that we have around Greater Cincinnati this time of year. Here are two that are coming up in June that the Flying Pig encourages everyone to take part:
The Subway® Redlegs Run
It's the 10th anniversary of the Redlegs Run, and to celebrate, the Reds have added a 10K to the usual 5K Run for Home! It'll be held Saturday, June 11, with the 10K going off at 7 a.m., and the 5K at 9 a.m. There's also a one mile kids' run and Gapper's Kids Fun Run as well. The Fifth Annual Ride Cincinnati for Breast Cancer Research is a perfect event for those who cross train! The event, on Sunday, June 12, spans almost every distance, from 8.2 miles all the way to a 62.8 mile bike ride. Included are activities for the family, such as a Kids' Rally at 11 a.m. and the Ride Cincinnati Celebration, all starting at Sawyer Point.
