How are you involved in your local running community? I started the Cincinnati Eastside Running Group five years ago and continue to help people from this area to train for races year round. Being a part of many people’s first half or full marathon training has brought me much joy!
What motivates you to run? I love to run for my health. Running provides me a much needed outlet and release. I also love to push my body and set new goals for myself involving running.
What is your favorite song to listen to while working out? Whatever It Takes – Imagine Dragons
What is your favorite post race meal? Ice Cream
Do you have a special race day ritual? I wear the same clothes on race day.
Any advice for future Queen Bee participants? Enjoy the sights, sounds, and spectators! It’s such a fun race!
