The Flying Pig has events for all ages and abilities!
We’ve adapted our kids’ incremental marathon program to give seniors a chance to take part in the Flying Pig. Our program promotes active, healthier lifestyles for all. Senior groups can train at their own speed with modified workouts and end with a final walk and medal celebration at their site. We will work with retirement homes, senior centers and more to help your group customize a plan that works for your needs.
Our Hog Log and Nutrition Guide are a great resource to track training and encourage healthier choices! The best part is, not all miles require running! Participants have the option to walk, run or wheelchair to the finish. The Wellness Mile Chart also provides alternatives to running that equal a mile. Fitness can be fun at any age, so grab your buddies and join us!
