Charity Teams

The Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon recommends any of these "charity runner" training programs. You can make a difference by running your marathon through one of these groups. In addition to receiving a personalized training program, you can help some very good causes in their fund-raising goals. These programs are great for those who know they might need additional support and coaching to make it through their race.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training Program

This program is the signature charity of the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. Join our Southern Ohio Chapter to help find a cure for leukemia.

The mission of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and Hodgkin's disease--and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Members of their Team in Training program are partnered with a local patient and in their honor raise money for the leukemia research and patient services. In return for this commitment, the Society provides the team members with a professional training program and group training runs. For information, please call (513) 361-2100 or visit
