Traveling to Cincinnati From the Airport
A few airlines have hubs in Cincinnati, making air travel prices relatively reasonable. The airport is located south of the city in Northern Kentucky, but it is only a ten minute drive to downtown Cincinnati. Transportation from the airport is available through Executive Transportation. Reservations are required. Call 1-800-990-8841 to make reservations.
For those staying at the recommended hotels, a rental car is not necessary as most of the Marathon Weekend activities are within walking distance (the Expo/Packet Pick-Up, start and finish).
The River Rats provide pedi-cab transportation in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati riverfront area. (www.nkyriverrats.com)
After the Sunday events, shuttle buses will be provided for those who are returning to the downtown area and Northern Kentucky. The shuttle will pick up near the Finish Line at the paddlewheel near Broadway and Mehring Way, and drop off near the start at lot D before Paul Brown Stadium and hotels in Cincinnati Hyatt, Millennium, Netherland Hilton, Cincinnatian Hotel, and the Westin. Buses will also make trips to Northern Kentucky and drop off at the Marriott Rivercentre, Embassey Suites, Holiday Inn, Extended Stay, Courtyard by Marriott, and Hampton Inn. The buses will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Buses will make their first stop at the start line.
