Thank you for registering to participate in a 2021 Flying Pig or Queen Bee Virtual Event. We are grateful for your support and look forward to cheering you on virtually.
How do I participate in the Virtual Event?
The Flying Pig and Queen Bee Virtual Event allows you to complete the race on your own. You will run or walk the race distance at your own pace and at a time and location of your choosing. You choose your own race day from now until November 15 and your own starting line, whether it’s a treadmill, a park or your neighborhood street.
Official Pig Works app, driven by TQL
The app includes suggested routes our team created, photo frames, playlists and more!
Follow us and engage on our Facebook and Instagram pages and use #runflyingpig or #queenbeehalf! We also encourage you to join our Virtual Group on Facebook. Share photos of your training and race day and offer encouragement to other participants.
We encourage you to submit your results by November 15, 2021. You can submit them manually using the link below, or through the ASICS Runkeeper App.
Please note: Virtual participants are not eligible for overall or age group awards.
For issues or questions concerning the Runkeeper App and results submission please email support@
All virtual participants will receive the following as part of their registration:
- Downloadable Race Bib
- Downloadable Mile Markers
- Downloadable Event Poster
- Event Shirt
- Finisher Medal
- Full, Half, Relay participants: premium bag, magnet
We will begin mailing out fall virtual event shirts and medals following the November 15th event completion deadline.
Have you moved recently? Log into your Race Roster account and verify we have your most accurate address. If something is incorrect and you need to make a change, please email us at registration@
Pig Works is a 501(c)(3) and helps more than 300 charities raise money through our events. By choosing to complete your event virtually, you are contributing to the $1 million raised each year by our charity partners. Especially at this time, each charity dollar means so much, and we thank you on behalf of each group that uses the Pig Works events as a fundraiser.
Virtual participants have the option to create a pledge page through their Race Roster account for an affiliated charity of their choice. This pledge page can be easily customized and shared via social media. For more details on how to create a pledge page and help raise money for a Pig Works Charity, please visit this link.
Virtual Event Tips:

- Plan your route (check here for our suggestions)
- Prepare for the weather & coordinate your wardrobe accordingly
- Plan your hydration – carry water and Gatorade
- Plan your fuel – carry some liquid energy or GU
- Wear your Road iD
- Take a mask!
- Carry your phone with the Pig Works app to track your run, upload your results and take your finish line selfie!
- Tell a friend or family member where and when you are heading out for your virtual run
- And don’t forget, if you don’t feel well… stay home and plan your run for another day
Rules and Regulations
The Flying Pig and Queen Bee event will now occur at the location and time of your choice between October 1 and November 15. Pig Works is not responsible for your safety while running virtually. We specifically request that you do not use any of our race day routes as they are not pedestrian safe without the usual street closures and police assistance with traffic. Please also adhere to the physical distancing mandates and guidelines in your area and do not attempt a group run.
Thank you again for participating in the Flying Pig Marathon, powered by P&G, or Queen Bee Half Marathon, empowered by P&G and Kroger, as part of a virtual event in 2021! We’ll keep you updated on all things Pig Works and hope to see you at one of our start lines again soon!
