Lots To Do on Flying Pig Weekend!
Whether you’re doing one Flying Pig event or are registered for multiple events, there are lots of things to do and see during Flying Pig weekend! Here’s the schedule of events:
Friday, April 29th
P&G Health and Fitness Expo at the Duke Energy Convention Center opens at noon and runs until 7:00 PM. Not only do you pick up your bib number, shirt and goodies, there’s plenty of great shopping there as well. Take your time and visit the vendors and we’re sure you’ll find something to add to your athletic wardrobe!
Fifty West Mile, first heat goes off at 7:00 PM along Mehring Way. Packet pickup on site starts at 5 p.m. If you’re doing one of the early heats, stick around to see the elites “dash for cash” at the end of the event, then hang out at the Post Race Party that goes until 10:00 PM at Smale Park.
Saturday, April 30th
It’s a jam-packed morning that starts with the Toyota 10K at 7:00 AM (note the earlier time this year!). On-site packet pickup starts at 5:30 AM at Paul Brown Stadium’s plaza. The Family Fun Festival starts at 7:30 AM at Smale Park, then the Tri-State Running Company 5K goes off at 9:00 AM. That’s followed by the First Watch Flying Piglet for the kids at 10:00 AM, also at Smale Park. The P&G Health and Fitness Expo gets underway also at 10:00 AM, then at 11:00 AM is Cincinnati Children’s 26th mile along Freedom Way, the PigAbilities event presented by Goodwill Industries at noon, and everyone’s favorite dog run, the Flying Fur at 1:00 PM along Mehring Way.
Sunday, May 1
The weekend wraps up with the marquee event, the Flying Pig Marathon powered by P&G at 6:30 AM along Elm Street by Paul Brown Stadium. That includes the Paycor Half Marathon and the CityDash 4-person relay. Celebrate your accomplishment at the Michelob Ultra Victory Party at Smale Park, running from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM. And congratulations on being part of the Pig!
