2026 Aruna Run
Celebrating its 17th anniversary, the Cincinnati Aruna Run brings together 1500+ people each Labor Day to run/walk for the freedom of trafficked women in 10K, 5K, and 1-Mile races. Hosted by the Aruna Project, an international human rights non-profit headquartered here in CIncinnati, 100% of registration fees and donations go toward Aruna's mission of freeing, employing, and empowering trafficked women, both internationally and domestically. Ridge & Repeat: A Pleasant Ridge Loop Run
Monday, September 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM in Pleasant Ridge, Cincinnati. The course is a one-mile neighborhood loop through Parkview, Beacraft, and Bellewood. Choose your challenge: run one loop for a mile, two loops for two miles, or three loops for the full 3 miles!
The race is being organized by Caroline Johnson, a Walnut Hills High School senior, cross country captain, and Girl Scout, as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award project. Caroline has spent months learning about and working through the process of organizing a neighborhood road race, including city permits, street closures, traffic control, insurance, safety, and community communication.

26th Annual African American Wellness Walk: Moving Hearts & Soles
Saturday, September 12th, 2026 @ 7:30am. Premier Health is excited to announce the 26th annual African American Wellness Walk (AAWW)! The 5K walk/run will be a hybrid event, with both a virtual and an in-person option. The in-person 5K walk will take place at Island MetroPark (101 East Helena Street, Dayton, OH 45407). Programming begins at 7:30 am, followed by the 5K walk at 8 am. This is a FREE event!
