Volunteers

At Pig Works we rely heavily on volunteers and their strong dedication to keep our events running. The majority of our volunteers represent a non-profit organization who recruits a group of volunteers to fill a need at one of our races. In line with our mission, Pig Works will make a donation to that non-profit organization for the volunteers' time. Other volunteer slots are filled by individuals and all are a valuable key to the success of our events.

To find out more information or get involved as a volunteer at one of our events, click on one of the links below.

For more information on our volunteer program, contact Lauren Burlile at lauren@flyingpigmarathon.com.

More than 8,000 volunteers (Grunts) are needed to make the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon special and to help make the Pig “fly.” Many of our volunteers are associated with charity groups while others are individuals. Volunteers play a significant role in the success of our live events and it would not be possible without them. All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

CHARITY GROUP VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Many of our volunteers represent one of our official Pig Works volunteer charity groups.

In keeping with our mission, those volunteer groups are eligible to receive a donation from the Pig Works organization.  In appreciation for bringing a group of volunteers and their time, Pig Works will make a direct donation to that non-profit organization. Sign up using the link below.
