Graeter’s Ice Cream Celebrates Flying Pig Anniversary with Limited Edition Flavor
CINCINNATI, OH (April 19, 2023) – Graeter’s Ice Cream, a 153-year-old, family owned craft ice cream company, is celebrating with the renowned Flying Pig Marathon with a special flavor to commemorate the race’s 25th anniversary. In honor of Cincinnati’s own annual marathon event, Graeter’s is releasing “Flying Pig TracksTM” for a limited run in all scoop shops on Friday, April 28th followed by select Kroger, Jungle Jim’s and Dorothy Lane stores in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas and online at Graeters.com.
The Flying Pig Tracks flavor is packed with peanut butter cups and chocolate fudge, packaged into a playfully illustrated pint. This celebratory pint will be available for online ordering across the country at Graeters.com. In addition to the limited edition flavor, Graeter’s is also teaming up with Cincinnati’s own Rookwood Pottery with a “Flying Pig” ice cream bowl. The bowl is the fifth in Graeter’s series of collectible Rookwood bowls. This very limited run carries a stamp commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Flying Pig Marathon. Available in limited quantities, the stamped Flying Pig bowl will be available for sale at $59.95 at the marathon registration event on Friday, May 5th.
