RACE DAY - Saturday, September 30th (beginning at 4 p.m.)
Race day packet pickup will be at The Banks on E. Theodore Berry Way across from The Filson. If you plan to pick up on-site, please allow extra time to pick up your packet before the race starts and have your photo ID ready to help expedite the process.
Can you pick up a packet for your friend, spouse or running buddy?
Yes! Please have a copy of their ID handy – printouts or a photo on your phone is sufficient.
Race Day Parking
Race day parking will be available, at cost, in the following garages/lots:
- Lot 1 – flat $5 rate. Please note this lot is gateless and uses cameras to enforce payment. Follow posted instructions to enter your license plate number and pay via credit card
- Lot E - $15 after 5pm. Please be prepared to pay with credit card
- CRG – entrances on Mehring under the Brady Music Center, Pete Rose West, and Race Street will be $15 starting at 5pm. All other entrances will be following regular posted rates.
Please note, there will be heavier traffic downtown with other events happening in the area. Give yourself enough time to park, walk to the start line, and complete any other pre-race rituals.
Bring a change of clothes on race day, and we'll keep an eye on it during the race. Gear check will be located in the yellow First Student school buses on Theodore Berry Way behind the Sing the Queen City sign. Items must be in a clear plastic bag (provided at packet pick-up and on-site). Affix the tab from your bib to the clear plastic bag containing your checked items.
The buses will remain on Theodore Berry Way during the race. Bags must be picked up by 7:30 p.m.
You will need to show your I.D. and get a wristband before you can get your hands on a cold beverage after the race. If you want to avoid the hassle on race day, bring your I.D. with you to packet pick-up and get your wristband then. We’ll also have a booth on race day where you can get your wristband before or after the race.
The timing chip will be affixed to your race bib. Please do not alter or remove it. You can scan the QR code located on your bib after the race to see your finish time.
The FCC3 course starts and finishes at The Banks. On race day packet pick-up, Start/Finish Lines, and the post-race party are all within easy walking distance from one another. Click here to view the course.
