In the celebration of the city of Cincinnati and the Flying Pig Marathon, Skyline Chili is proud to present the 3-Way and 4-Way Challenge in the Flying Pig Marathon weekend of events. (The events’ namesakes are the Skyline 3-Way, a Cincinnati signature dish crafted from chili, spaghetti and cheese; and the Skyline 4-Way, crafted from chili, spaghetti, cheese and onions.) To complete the 3-Way Challenge, a single runner must complete Saturday’s 5K and 10K events, as well as Sunday’s Half Marathon. To complete the 4-Way Challenge, a single runner must complete Saturday’s 5K and 10K events, as well as Sunday’s Full Marathon.
Skyline Chili 3-Way and 4-Way Challenge Finishers will receive additional premiums for their great achievements, including a technical finisher’s shirt, a plaque to display all event medals, and an additional 3-Way/4-Way Challenge finisher’s medal. Are you up for the Challenge?

History of Skyline Chili
Elite athletes pursue dreams with enviable enthusiasm. In 1949, Nicholas Lambrinides began pursuing his dream in a similar way–by working incredibly hard to make his delicious secret recipes for appreciative customers. Since then, Skyline (named for a view from the first restaurant in Price Hill) has been delighting generations with their famous Ways, coneys and fast tableside service. Skyline Chili serves its Cincinnati-style chili in over 130 restaurants and thousands of grocery stores, making it one of the truly unique regional taste sensations in America. Like the Flying Pig Marathon, Skyline is dedicated to bringing friends and families together for an experience like no other. Skyline Chili is synonymous with Cincinnati-style chili throughout the world.

We recommend picking up your packets on Friday, April 29 at the expo (all three packets will be grouped together)
If picking up on Saturday, you will pick up your 5K and 10K packets on-site Saturday morning. After the 5K and 10K, you will pick up your half or full marathon packet, shirt, premium bag and poster at the P&G Health & Fitness Expo.
All registered participants will receive a shirt for each event, premium bag, limited-edition poster, and virtual goodie bag.
All 3-Way/4-Way finishers will receive a finisher’s medal for each event, an additional 3-Way/4-Way medal, technical finisher shirt, plaque to display all four medals, mylar blanket, and Finish-area refreshments. Finisher’s certificates will be available to download after the race.
To get to the 5K Start from the 10K Finish, when exiting the participant-only finish chute, turn right (west) on Mehring. Turn right again (north) on to Joe Nuxhall Way. The 5K Start line is near the intersection of Joe Nuxhall Way and Second St. similar to where the 10K started.
When competing in Saturday’s events, wear only one event bib at a time. Bag check will be available to drop off your 10K medal and pick up your 5K bib between races.
You will NOT be awarded the 3-Way/4-Way Challenge finisher’s medal in the finish area. To be awarded this medal, you must visit the 3-Way/4-Way Challenge Premiums tent, located directly next to the Skyline Chili tent at the Victory Party. Look for Skyline and Skyline Chili 3-Way/4-Way Challenge signs. Here you will receive a long-sleeve technical 3-Way/4-Way Challenge finisher shirt, a plaque to display your new hardware, and of course, the coveted 3-Way/4-Way Challenge finisher’s medal.
You must have completed Saturday’s 5K and 10K to receive your “Challenge” premiums. We will have a list of Saturday’s finishers at the 3-Way/4-Way Challenge premiums tent confirming completion of the entire Skyline Chili 3-Way/4-Way Challenge.
Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women in the 3-Way and 4-Way, determined by overall time for all three events based on chip times.
