2023 Virtual Instructions

Thank you for registering for the Virtual Queen Bee Half Marathon, championed by Medpace, or the Virtual Queen Bee 4 Miler! We are excited to celebrate our 10th anniversary and the amazing causes and non-profit organizations that benefit through the Queen Bee Charity Program. 

We cannot wait to see photos from our virtual runners & walkers participating from all over the United States. Share your virtual event photos on Instagram and Facebook by tagging @queenbeehalf and using #QueenBeeVirtual!  

We’ve compiled all the details you’ll need to know to get ready for your virtual run next week.   

First things first... Here’s what you’ll need to do to earn that medal!  

  1. Print your downloadable race bib.  
  2. Complete your 13.1-mile or 4-mile run between September 27th and October 21st.  
  3. Click here to submit your results and get your finisher’s certificate. Use the drop-down menu to select the correct virtual event. 
  4. Post to social media using hashtag #QueenBeeVirtual and tagging @queenbeehalf.

Frequently Asked Questions

All swag will be shipped following the Queen Bee Event Weekend. If you do not receive your items by November 4, please email registration@flyingpigmarathon.com. 

Virtual packet pick up will not be available at the expo. You are more than welcome to attend the expo on October 13th at the Duke Energy Convention Center to check out all our amazing vendors and experiences. 

Virtual participants are not eligible for age group awards.   

Please email registration@flyingpigmarathon.com for assistance in switching distances/or to in-person by 12 PM EST on October 4th, 2023. Switches made after 10/4/2023 must be executed at the expo on Friday, October 13th from 11am-7pm, pending your race is not sold out. All participants will be charged a $10 switching fee plus the difference in registration fees from virtual to in-person.
